Its felted !! I am pleased with the end result. I am glad I used the black for contrast....its really brought out all the colours.
Decided to add some detail to the closing flap. I did a blanket stitch and then crochet an edge with striped wool. It looks finished now.
Wow I can't believe how much felting changed the balance of colours in that bag!
ReplyDeleteI also really liked the edging of the bag that you curved during drying. I've not tried doing anything like that yet, I shall have to ponder about how to use it myself.
You certainly got your monies worth out of that vintage hues wool. It does look fabulous.
